Here in Sedona, I have 113 marked hiking trails in some of the most beautiful scenery in the U.S. so hiking was a weekly endeavor. The wide biking lanes make riding here a dream..Additionally, its majestic red rocks have a way of feeding one spiritually. I fell in love with this place and made it a goal to live there someday.

Some day arrived nine years later in October of 2008. I retired from the newspaper and Fran sold the dance studio she had owned for 24 years. We moved to the place of our dreams, Sedona, Arizona and live there with our German shepherd, Max, and Siberian husky, Keva, much closer to our son, Matt, and daughter, Rae-Mi.
